Kawasaki scoop three MCN awards.
Presented at a glittering awards ceremony on 20 September, the Motor Cycle News awards cover not just types and styles of motorcycles but Dealers and products too.
Scooping three of the prestigious awards, Kawasaki ended the night joint first in the "league table" and reflected on the fact that two recently introduced machines won their hard-fought respective classes.
Attending the star studded evening, Sales and Marketing Manager for Kawasaki Motors UK, Michael Johnstone, reflected on the evening's successes.
"I am delighted that we were not only joint first in terms of the sheer number of awards we won, but also for the categories that we achieved success in.
The recently launched Z1000SX has been a real hit with not just the biking press but also customers across the UK who see it as representing a new style of bike offering genuine touring potential to riders who may have been used in the past to Supersport style machines.
And in terms of style, everyone in the Kawasaki family has a soft spot for what we think is the most convincing and evocative retro currently available, the W800. With so many dormant licence holders returning to two wheels, the W800 has really captured biker's imagination with its authentic look and feel.
Finally we were especially delighted to achieve first place in the buoyant 250cc category with the Ninja 250R. The GetOn campaign is making great strides in attracting people to two wheels and the Ninja 250R is a logical choice as a first proper motorcycle for many riders, it's great to see this lively and stylish two-cylinder machine get the
